Paver Care Guides

How Much Does Paver Sealing Cost in South Florida?

Every paver job is priced on square footage, condition, and how much repair work has to happen before the sealer goes down. Here's how to read a quote and tell a fair one from a future problem.

What the price is actually built from

We don't publish a flat per-square-foot number, because two driveways of identical size can take very different amounts of work. A two-year-old pool deck that just needs a refresh is a fraction of the labor of a fifteen-year-old driveway with mold, sunken sections, and washed-out joints.

  • Total square footage of the surface
  • How dirty it is — mold, algae, oil, rust, efflorescence
  • Whether pavers need resetting or replacing first
  • How much joint sand has to be replaced
  • Surface type: driveway, pool deck, patio, or walkway
  • Finish chosen — natural, satin, or wet look

Why the cheapest quote usually isn't

The fastest way to cut a paver sealing price is to skip steps: light rinse instead of a proper clean, no mold treatment, no new joint sand, thin single coat of a cheap big-box sealer.

It looks fine for about four months. Then the sealer clouds, peels in sheets, or traps moisture and mold underneath. Stripping a failed sealer off pavers costs more than the original job did.

Questions to ask any paver company

You can judge a contractor with five questions, regardless of the number on the quote.

  • Do you pressure clean and treat mold before sealing?
  • Do you replace joint sand, and what kind?
  • What sealer brand and finish are you using, and how many coats?
  • How long do I wait before foot traffic and vehicles?
  • What's the warranty, in writing?
  • Are you licensed and insured in Florida?

What we include

Every Aqua Touch sealing project includes a full pressure clean, mold and stain treatment, full dry time, fresh joint sand, a joint stabilizing sealer that hardens the joints, and a two-year warranty. We walk the finished job with you before we call it done.

Estimates are free and on-site — we look at the actual surface rather than guessing from a satellite photo. Most Palm Beach and Broward estimates go back out within 24 hours.

One more cost worth knowing

Repairs are cheap when they're small. A few sunken pavers reset today is a short visit. The same area ignored for two more rainy seasons becomes a large re-leveling job with a base rebuild. If your estimator points out early settling, that's not an upsell — that's the cheapest moment to fix it.
